About this event

To have the right mindset to achieve one's goals, you have to have an effective dictionary of words to propel you forward. Sometimes we use negative words that sabotage our efforts and in other cases positive words motivate us to excel at an even higher level than we ever dreamed possible. Learn which words and their meanings bring us down and how to turn that around for more fulfilling experiences. Also find out about the two words that can go either way - good or bad!

This signature workshop is designed to assist participants in realizing that the words they choose (good or bad) can have a significant impact on the person they are communicating with - whether verbal or written. It can also affect the way we define our goals and dreams and how we plan on attaining them. Many rely on "being positive" but to be truly be effective, all our actions need to be holistically aligned with each other and that starts with our word choice. Participants will explore how changing even just one word can result in success or failure. By the end of the session, participants will have defined a goal, determined an action step, and communicated that to their "coaching" buddy. Lastly there will be "home-work" for participants to do to keep their motivation going even after the session.

Session Objectives:

  • Understand that certain words are interpreted differently depending on the person and how to be careful not to be misunderstood.
  • Determine how to effectively create a goal (SMART goal).
  • Learn strategies on how to turn frustrations into fulfillment in regards to your goal.
